A New Year In 2014

It is actually located at Neihu, Taipei. It's actually a software Industrial Area. 

If you happen to visit Taiwan, you have to try this. It is my all time favorite. It's call  Dorayaki, 銅鑼燒 sometimes it is also known as che lun ping, 車輪餅 in Taiwan. It's normally sold at a small stall on the street. 

Normally, It comes in different flavor like red bean, butter, veggie, black pepper cabbage, yam  and chocolate. Personally, I prefer the sweet flavor like red bean, yam and chocolate. The price $$$$$？？ It's about 10 NTD in Taichung area and it is a little more expensive around Taipei area ,around 15~20 NTD for one.

Chang Hua is in the center of Taiwan. It's about half an hour drive from Taichung City. My job require me to travel a lot, and I pass by this small stall for a couples of time. 

Saw these flowers on a BIG tree by a road. 

爌肉飯 = It's the part of pork where they are meats and fats.I guess it's the best part.! The 筒仔米糕=It's actually they put some soup of the pork on the sticky rice with some minced pork. I didn't order that. 

 The business hours is from 5pm to 3am. It's just 5pm. As you can see, it's already so crowded. The crowd is the main reason that attracted me to give a try. 

The main dish, it is braised pork.

Basically it is a 3D Bear. 

Sandwiches with fruit salad and some chips.The filling of the sandwiches are baked chicken, lettuce, tomatoes with yellow mustard. Personally, I think this is pretty normal.

New Fun

Recently, let me back to the naive's age. 

I'm in love with something call 扭蛋 in Taiwan, and it's aka Gashapon according to Wikipedia. It's is where you throw an amount of money,and you have 100% of getting a toy back. However you might not get your favorite's one. 

Another game named as  夾娃娃機, Claw game, well this is a lot more challenging than the previous machine. It has a craw to pick up a toy and the percentage of getting the toy is dropping from 100 % to...1% I guess. It totally depends on luck and skill. For a lousy person like me, the chance of me getting a toy is approximately 0%. Therefore, I totally give up on this machine 

New Comers

 In August we decided to have a small baby……

We named her as Vanessa however this English name seem to be too hard for her,

Her nanny or the 2^nd mother named her as niuniu 妞妞。

In the beginning, I seem to train her as an English educated, but this doesn’t seem to work out well. Her another mother used Taiwanese language aka Hokkien to communicate with her.

We had brought her back from her another mother and back to Taichung city. She is really super energetic and love biting others especially your foot, I guess they are just perfect size for her to bite.

All we have done for these past 4 days night after work were to clean out what she messed up. For the first day, OMG, I’m totally speechless, I can smell the shit around the room. Well the 2^nd night I consider it is still ok. What confuse me is that she can really defecate and urinate on her toilet pretty precisely, just that she likes to play around with her poo poo. [if she doesn’t everything will be perfect],okay I’ll assume she is just a 4 months puppy….

Anyway, she is still very adorable, especially she is very good at showing her innocent face…

Taiwan Vs Malaysia

Food
1. In Malaysia we say 打包， in Taiwan they call 外帶
2. In Malaysia, if you don't restate that you do not want spicy, the food will automatically become spicy [老闆不要辣.BUT , in Taiwan, if they will ask, do you want it HOT ?...【老闆要辣】

Language
1. Taiwanese speaks Taiwanese language just like Malaysian speak Cantonese.

Education
1. Taiwan is so American, Malaysia is so British,
2. Malaysia, during the school day, student are not allowed to talk any define as sensitive issue "races and politics" ; Taiwan, u can talk whatever is in your mind.
3. Malaysia, citizens are educated to be tolerate {even with some FAIR issue}, Taiwan, citizens fight for their right!!!

Politics
1. Malaysia - you can't critique publicly or else you are put into jail.; Taiwan,u can do that publicly, over the media mass,[how cool yeah!!]

Color
1. You see different color on the street in Malaysia; basically mostly yellow color is seen on the street in Taiwan.
